Amy Hnatko returned to photography from an extended period of designing and making stained glass windows and sculptural kaleidoscopes. The experience of working with translucient light rather than reflective light has since influenced her use of light in photography. She concentrates mostly on landscape photographs of the woods, fields, and waterfalls in the area. Her abstract photography is inspired by the small, often overlooked details that can distill the entire emotion content of the scene.
